Gooood Afternoon everyone! It's 102 with a crisp 59% Humidity. Let's all just take a moment of silence for my sweat tacos.....
Ok thanks for that.
God truly works miracles because guess the heck what! NASTASSJA IS ON DATE! WAHOOOOO. We are SO excited and know that she is making a decision that will change her life for the better. She'll continue to see blessings as she takes part in the covenant path:)
Paula our other friend on date is still going strong. November 30th is coming in hoooot. So keep uttering your prayers, it's truly working!
I realized this week how much I cherish my scriptures. How much I truly love and appreciate them because I didn't have them! And it was so hard to do literally anything without them. It's really cool to see how much I relied on them actually. The teachings and words of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. It's so beautiful! Before my mission I loved my scriptures but not as much as I do now. My mission has really helped me do a lot and change alot and see alot of things differently. I've come to understand more the things Jospeh Smith did to allow me to have my Book of Mormon.
So here's my challenge. Download the Gospel Library App, and go to church history then go to Saints volume 1 and start reading. It's a book the Church and a crap ton of historians have released about the life of the early Saints. About Jospeh Smith and his life as well. Be grateful for them. We wouldn't have much of anything we have today if it wasn't for each and every one of them. Reading it has been totally life changing and that's not an understatement.
I haven't got much to say today because 1. I have a headache and I'm getting sick and 2. It's actually because I just want you all to read that book Saints.
Okay I love you all and I hope you don't ever forget it. Since Turkey day is coming up for some of you here's some things I am grateful for:
1. My family and their perfect support
2. Church leaders/head quarters that keeps us missionaries safe and protected
3. The BOOK OF MORMON
4. My friend Sharon who painted my scriptures:)
5. Nice, cold water.
6. Deodorant
7. My freedoms
8. The Prophet!
9. In n out :(
10. The Nature!!!
These are in no particular order but I bet you can all figure out that number 9 is actually number 1.
Don't forget to keep praying for opportunities to serve people:) keep reading a verse of the book of Mormon each day and keep doing good and being good! God blesses those who put forth action. It's really hard and we have ALOT to do, but the goal is eternal life. What greater reward?
