At this point while Parker is still serving her mission, we have seen gatherings limited to 10 people, so no more church on Sundays, students are all going to online school, missionary adjustments have been made like, missionaries with a health issue will be released and sent home, missionaries leaving to their assigned mission but those country are closed or not allowing people in will be reassigned, missionaries may be released at 21 months, missionaries receiving temporary reassignments, all missionaries are using technology to study and preach the gospel. Things are ever-changing in everyone's world. Life as we know it has been altered and will not be the same for a while. But with Faith and the guidance of a living prophet, President Russell M. Nelson, we will survive and we will prevail.
Parker is upbeat and focuses on missionary work. She is hoping to stay in the Adelaide, Australia Mission even though other missionaries/missions are been called home. Once home missionaries are asked to self-isolate for 14 days and then are reassigned or go back to their mission depending on the conditions and how Covid-19 has affect that region.
We know that the Lord is watching over her and taking good care of her. She is loved by so many. Please keep her in your prayers and all the missionaries around the world.
